CICR’s annual student retreat took place this year in the beautiful hills of the Catskills with three high-level guests and a variety of activities. The retreat featured the participation of CICR Director Jean-Marie Guéhenno and three experts in the field of conflict resolution: Edmond Mulet, Special Representative for the UN Mission in Haiti, Renata Dwan, Head of the Aid Coherence Unit in the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, and Matt Shermann, Member of General David Petraeus’ Strategic Advisory Group in Afghanistan.

Students spent the weekend getting to know each other and gaining useful insights from the guests on career opportunities in the field of conflict resolution. To view photo’s from the retreat, click here.
